STANDARDIZED
IMPRINT POSITIONS
Goldstamp's
imprint positions are standardized and some imprint options depend on the particular
style and size of the album being used. For instance, spine cover imprint positions
are available for "slip in" or "tuck" spines but not for fixed
spine covers. Upper Front titles or designs are not available for most album covers
with "windows" or photo frames due to space conflicts or other limitations.
DECORATIVE
BARS FOR THE UPPER SPINE POSITION
With Upper
Spine imprints, decorative "rules" or bars will be automatically included
above and below your Upper Spine title or graphic design. These rules serve not only
to frame the title but also to visually tie your spine titles together when albums
are displayed side-by-side on a shelf. It is not necessary to request these as they
are included automatically on all strap-hinge or postbound albums having removable
spine covers. Note: Decorative rules are not included with Upper Spine position imprints
on ring binders due to differences in album construction.
LOWER
SPINE PERSONALIZATION
Lower Spine
imprint option is available at no extra charge with most Upper Spine imprints. The
Lower Spine position serves to present the details about a particular album and can
include names, dates, volume numbers and more. Here are some valuable tips
for alignment and abbreviation.
Standardized positions and font treatment are used for lower spine imprints so the
appearance of your imprints will remain consistent as you build your collection over
time.
