PREPARING
YOUR ORDER FOR SHIPMENT
Follow these
easy steps to order imprinting (aka "embossing") for your album covers:
STEP 1 - Order our double-walled shipping carton below (this step is optional)
We do not require that you use our own shipping carton for mailing, however we
provide it at our cost if you need a carton. It is a specially designed double-walled
carton of an appropriate size to accomodate multiple album cover sets and includes
bubblewrap for safe packing and shipping. Your completed albums will be shipped
to you a new carton of the same design, sealed inside a heavy duty plastic shipping
bag to preserve a clean, pre-addressed box ready for use with your next order.
If you have another album cover shipping carton (e.g., CM Persona box, etc.) you can use it with this
upgrade discount offer.
If you are using your own shipping box please refer to "Packing Tips"
below.
STEP 2 - Choose your "embossed" imprinting options
Determine your preferred imprinting (embossing) options on this website and fill
out the corresponding forms for your covers. Each cover that you send to us (e.g.
Front, Spine or Back) will have a corresponding imprint form. Fill out the form online
and print two copies, one to include with the cover and one to keep for your own
records.
IMPORTANT: Send only the covers to be imprinted (no pages, straps, extra covers,
etc.).
STEP 3 - Complete and print the Order Summary form
Fill out and print a copy of the Order Summary form to include with your order.
Keep an extra copy for your own records. After printing the summary form, fill out
the payment portion by hand after you have completed the individual cover imprint
tickets.
STEP 4 - Pack your covers for shipment
Stack your covers, placing one copy of each imprint form on top of its corresponding
cover and place your Order Summary Form on top of the stack. Wrap the stack of covers
inside a clear plastic bag if available and cushion the covers inside the shipping
carton. Seal the carton with packing tape and ship to our service center using this
pre-addressed
shipping label.
Please do not use staples or paper clips to attach order forms to your covers.
Simply place the order form on top of its corresponding cover.
STEP 5 - Ship your order
Ship your order to us via the carrier of your choice (US Mail, UPS, FedEx, DHL,
Purolator, etc.). We strongly suggest purchasing shipping insurance as necessary
to cover the replacement cost of your cover sets. (UPS and FedEx include insurance
for up to $100 value in their base shipping rate.) Once we receive your covers we
take full responsibility for insuring their safe return to you and we guarantee that you will be delighted with the results.
Note: If shipping from within 200 miles of St. Louis do not use "express"
or "overnight" service as it will cost substantially more but will arrive
no sooner than regular shipping methods.

YOUR ORDER FOR SHIPMENT
GOLDSTAMP
SHIPPING CARTON (optional purchase)
This
carton is double-walled to provide greater protection for your album covers. Bubblewrap
is included for additional protection and the carton is shipped to you inside of
a white poly bag to keep the box clean for your use. The carton is designed to safely
ship up to eight 12"x15" front or back covers with spines (or up to 50
spines only). As a convenience to you, we provide this box at our shipping and handling
cost (see shipping
carton order form
for details).
USING YOUR OWN SHIPPING CARTON
If you are shipping your order using your own box, please print this pre-addressed
shipping
label to
affix to your package. Refer to "Packing Tips" below.
SHIPPING
The U.S. Postal Service's Parcel Post is most economical. Priority mail is faster,
especially when shipping from East or West coasts or Mountain states and is delivered
from most addresses within 3 days. The UPS Store and FedEx Kinkos (or other "pack-and-ship"
stores) are also convenient and packing service is an available option. FedEx or
UPS automatically insure your package contents up to $100 value which is often enough
for smaller orders but we recommend purchasing additional insurance if the replacement
value of your covers exceeds this amount. Once completed, your album covers will
be returned to you via FedEx Ground or US Priority mail.[shipping details]
PACKING TIPS
Using a shipping carton: To ship safely, we recommend using a half inch or more
of space filled with packing material around your covers in the box. The objective
is to pad the covers and fill the carton to prevent contents from moving around during
shipment.
Using a shipping envelope: While we suggest using a corrugated carton instead,
some use a cardboard or padded shipping envelope for shipping album covers.
Packing tips: Never fold spine covers as this may cause a crease in the material;
ship spine covers as "flat" as possible inside package. Also in this case,
an extra piece or two of cardboard or chipboard inside the envelope is recommended
to make the envelope more resistant to bending.
Postal Service tips: Mark the envelope "DO NOT BEND". Insure your shipment
for replacement value of contents. |
